Prisoners

Sample review · Prisoners is beautifully controlled, although I found the relentless bleakness wearing by the end. The rain and dim interiors do a lot of emotional work. Strong performances kept me involved when the plotting felt crowded. A memorable setting can sell me on almost anything.
