Sample review · Raiders still has my favourite rhythm for an adventure: a clever escape, a new problem, then an even worse idea. The physical comedy does as much work as the stunts. A proper rainy-Saturday film. A memorable setting can sell me on almost anything.

Sample review · Jurassic Park spends enough time making the island wondrous that the danger actually means something. I had forgotten how patient the early scenes are. The effects hold up because the staging gives them room. Always interested in how a story finds its ending.
