A playful, psychedelic meditation on the ideas of Ludwig Wittgenstein, **The Ghost of Wittgenstein** transforms philosophy into a kaleidoscope of image, sound and language. Eschewing conventional narrative, Ira Schneider combines rapidly shifting visuals, jazz and a looping conversation to explore the relationship between words, perception and reality. Alongside **I'd Rather Be Half Right Than Vice President** and **Lost in Cudilhy**, the film forms *The Charlotteruse with the Medal of the Wobbling Bubble in its Palm Trilogy*, a trio of experimental works restored in 2017 as part of a 16mm preservation project produced by Claudine Biswas-MacKenzie. The restored trilogy was subsequently presented at the Prada Fondazione in Milan and the Paris Independent Film Festival, celebrating Schneider's pioneering contribution to experimental film and early video art.Read moreLess
