Hadria (Sixtos), a woman haunted by guilt she cannot explain, is talked into a weekend at an exclusive lakeside sanctuary by her best friend Sierra (Applegate) and Sierra’s boyfriend Scott (Anders). She has never warmed to the hosts, Rick (Goodwin) and Anna (Smitha), but she goes for a shot at something with Mike Warner (Davis), a pro athlete sidelined by a knee injury. The property sits behind three locked gates, where hundreds of deer assemble, watching. The lake comes with lore, the kind that makes a good firepit story, and Bartleby (Wiseau), the eccentric owner, tells them it carries the genes of the Gods.
