The story

Gustavo refuses to leave his home when coastguards evacuate his south Florida neighborhood. The risk of ending up in the hands of ICE was just another form of predictable peril. Now, alone with young Sofia as food and water dwindle, he must protect the only home and family he’s ever known in the United States. Gustavo se niega a abandonar su casa cuando la guardia costera evacúa su barrio en el sur de Florida. El riesgo de acabar en manos del ICE era un riesgo que debía enfrentar. Ahora, solo junto a la pequeña Sofía, mientras los alimentos y el agua escasean cada vez más, deberá proteger al único hogar y a la única familia que ha tenido en Estados Unidos.
