A poetic tale about punctuation marks. Adapted from a poem by Wanda Chotomska. In a certain town, there's a shop selling punctuation marks. On the shelves, in candy cans, are periods, commas, dashes, exclamation points, and question marks. Two men enter the shop – they're buying quotation marks. A girl runs in and asks for dashes. A general arrives to buy exclamation marks. Two market women visit the shop because they need colons and commas for calculations. Poor students come in to buy semicolons to pass their exams.
