In 1905, Félix Mesguich, a young camera operator of the Lumière Brothers, films in the Blumlisalp Glacier, Switzerland, one of the first mountaineering films. A report of the recovery of the bodies of three mountaineers who fell into a crevasse. The film captures the shocking moment in which one of the dead mountaineers opens his eyes when he is hoisted from the edge of the crack.
