Hascoët, Émile, Léo, and Paul are a rowdy group of teenage skateboarders. They pile into Léo’s mom’s car and drive to Barcelona, the mecca of skateboarding, for their first trip away as almost-adults. They live on vacuum-sealed tortillas, drink warm cans of Lemon Damm, and spend their days and nights at MACBA. The beach might as well not exist, and the Sagrada Família is just something they pass on the way. All that matters is skating, drifting through the city, and burning through those first fragile days of freedom. Ten years later, they try to piece it back together over a few scattered phone calls. The memories are still there, but something has shifted. What once felt infinite now comes back in fragments.Read moreLess
