In a reserved seat carriage of the Chelyabinsk-Moscow train, forty-year-old Gena and twenty-five-year-old Sanek, a young film director, meet. Gena is going to visit his dying grandmother in his native wilderness, and Sanek is going to the premiere of his film. Gena tricks Sanek into getting off the train with him.
