After hundreds of sleepless nights, I decided to film the full moon with my Super 8 camera and a roll of black-and-white film, believing it was the source and cause of my insomnia. The film was then imperfectly developed by hand, which created a tension between the two surfaces at play: the film and the moon. The title of this film was given to that roll by my dear friend Alexander Gabriel three years after I had filmed and discarded it.
