Khandorj of Mijiddorji (1871-1915) was born in Bulgan province. In 1892, he succeeded his grandfather Chin Wang and became the governor. In August 1911, the tsar went to St. Petersburg, leading a delegation to ask for help from Russia in the case of Mongolian independence. After the founding of Mongolia, Bogd Khan served as the Prime Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1911-1915) and participated in the 1912 Mongolian-Russian negotiations.
