Antonio is a young man who moves between two worlds: dreams and reality. In a hellish summer nap, while he was dreaming about a beautiful woman, he is woken up by two ladies from a church who bring the statue of a virgin (that of the Holy Miraculous Medal) to stay in their house for a few days. He receives her, in a hurry, to return to his dreams, but, when the ladies leave, the virgin falls to the ground and breaks into pieces.
