A documentary about the Icelandic sculptor, Sigurjón Ólafsson. Shot between 1978-1984, the film shows Mr. Ólafsson making a portrait in clay of the late president of Iceland, Dr. Kristján Eldjárn. The proces is shown almost from the beginning until the sculpture has been moulded into bronze.
