In Shape Shift, Stark uses two cameras positioned opposite each other to reveal, as Stark writes, “a body transposed upon itself.” In his boxers, Stark performs a simple and almost ritualistic dance sequence. He creates a “flicker” effect by rapidly switching between the images captured by these cameras, shifting the spatial perspective from one side to the other.
