Todd Waring

Todd Waring is an American actor born in Ballston Spa, New York, who is widely known for stepping into roles originally played by Tom Hanks—specifically starring as David Basner in the television series adaptation of Nothing in Common and as Allen Bauer in the sequel film Splash, Too. He also portrayed Robert F. Kennedy in the television miniseries Sinatra. With a prolific career spanning stage and screen, Waring has built an extensive resume of guest and recurring television appearances in shows such as NYPD Blue (as Malcolm Cullinan), The West Wing, Scandal, Chasing Life, The Young and the Restless, and M. Night Shyamalan's Apple TV+ series Servant (as Frank Pearce). Science fiction fans also know him for his guest appearances in the franchise, where he played the alien Lasaran in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine second-season episode "Whispers" and later returned as DeCurtis in the sixth-season episode "Change of Heart".
