Keith Harris

Keith Harris is an American Grammy Award-winning record producer, songwriter, drummer, music director, and multi-instrumentalist. Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois, he began playing drums in his local church at a young age. He later attended Chicago's Curie Metropolitan High School and studied music production and engineering at Berklee College of Music, graduating in 1998. Harris joined the Black Eyed Peas as their touring drummer in 2003 and became a longtime member of the group's live band, Bucky Jonson. In addition to performing drums, keyboards, and percussion, he contributed to the group's recordings as a songwriter and producer. He co-wrote and produced several of the Black Eyed Peas' successful songs, including "Meet Me Halfway" and "Imma Be" from the Grammy-winning album The E.N.D. Throughout his career, Harris has worked with numerous artists as a producer, songwriter, musician, and musical director, including Fergie, will.i.am, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Christina Aguilera, John Legend, Usher, Estelle, and Robin Thicke. He has also served as musical director for several major artists and tours. Harris continues to work as a producer, songwriter, drummer, and multi-instrumentalist, while developing his own music through projects such as the Keith Harris Experience.
