Pragathi Mahavadi

Pragathi Mahavadi (born April 16, 1976), known mononymously as Pragathi, is an Indian actress who works predominantly in Telugu cinema, alongside appearances in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada films. She began her career as a leading actress in Tamil films with *Veetla Visheshanga* (1994), before transitioning to television serials and establishing an extensive filmography as a character artist in Telugu cinema. Following her return to feature films in the early 2000s, Pragathi appeared in *Bobby* (2002), *Nuvve Nuvve* (2002), *Gangotri* (2003), *Chirutha* (2007), *Ready* (2008), and *Bujjigadu* (2008). For her supporting performance in *Yemaindi Ee Vela* (2010), she won the Nandi Award for Best Supporting Actress. Her credits during this period also included *Brindaavanam* (2010), *Dookudu* (2011), *Julayi* (2012), *Attarintiki Daredi* (2013), and *Race Gurram* (2014). In 2016, she won the Nandi Award for Best Female Comedian for *Kalyana Vaibhogame*. Her subsequent Telugu releases included *Awe!* (2018), *Chalo* (2018), *F2: Fun and Frustration* (2019), *Oh! Baby* (2019), *DJ Tillu* (2022), *F3: Fun and Frustration* (2022), and *Double iSmart* (2024).
