Satya

Satya Akkala (born September 28, 1987), known mononymously as Satya, is an Indian actor and comedian who works primarily in Telugu cinema. He began his career in the early 2010s with uncredited and supporting appearances, including *Pilla Zamindar* (2011), before achieving breakthrough recognition in the crime comedy *Swamy Ra Ra* (2013). Over the following decade, he established himself as a prominent comic and character actor in contemporary Telugu cinema, appearing in features such as the supernatural mystery *Karthikeya* (2014), *Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada* (2016), the period action drama *Rangasthalam* (2018), and the mystery thriller *Karthikeya 2* (2022). Satya gained particular critical and popular attention for his role as Yesu Dasu in the comedy thriller *Mathu Vadalara* (2019), later reprising the character in the sequel *Mathu Vadalara 2* (2024), alongside prominent roles in the superhero film *Hanu-Man* (2024) and *Rangabali* (2023). Following supporting appearances in *Game Changer* (2025) and *Daaku Maharaaj* (2025), he continued his screen work into 2026 with the action drama *Peddi* and the horror comedy *The Rajasaab*.
