Nabil ElHegrassy

Born in Alexandria, he held a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts. Early in his life, he married the artist Esaad Younis—who was a broadcaster at the time—before they eventually separated. He worked in theater—appearing in productions such as *Asl wa Soura*, *Ana wa Merati wa Zawjaha*, *Al-Sa’louka*, *Al-Tartour*, and *Maqalib Mahrous*—as well as in film and television (notably *Al-Ab Al-Masri*). He was a comedic actor best known for playing the protagonist's friend. While he achieved greater prominence in theater than in cinema, his performances were often formulaic; despite his natural wit and charm, he frequently repeated himself.
