Sample review · Singin’ in the Rain makes difficult things look conversational. The rhythm is in the dialogue and bodies, not just the songs. I love a musical that finds comedy inside the craft it is celebrating. Always interested in how a story finds its ending.

Sample review · Fury Road has the shape of a piece of music: recurring motifs, sudden changes of pace and a clear sense of build. The sound design keeps the machinery distinct. Best watched loud, with the neighbours considered. The performances are what draw me back.
